David and Regina Hall launched their first restaurant in 1996 trading from a small outlet in the centre of Southampton. This Italian restaurant Reggina’s became very popular and is still the place to go in Botley, Southampton.

Following the success of their first business, the husband and wife team established Casa Italia. Although they had experienced success, due to the volume of Italian food offerings in the area, they decided to modify their business model. They recognised a gap in the market for an up market all you can eat restaurant which they made their own with a Brazilian twist; Casa Brasil restaurant was born!

This first Casa Brasil restaurant was set up in their home city of Southampton, being a unique concept to the area. The hard work paid off, and when looking to roll out this success, David first approached CLS to assist with equipment funding for his second Casa Brasil site. CLS were looking at funding options for the kitchen fit out, furniture and some building work all supplied by a local catering company Brenchley’s.

Due to the vast and rapid expansion of the business, structured Finance Lease plans were required to keep up with growth, the Group now comprises of 5 sites and CLS were delighted work with David in achieving this and provided a complete finance solution.
